Celebrate Arts 2008 November 7-29, 2008. The event gallery at 910Arts presents an exhibition of two- and three-dimensional art entitled Celebrate Arts 2008. Sponsored by Sculptural Pursuit magazine, the exhibit will show a variety of styles and media in contemporary fine art, the exhibition is curated by ArtistsRegister.com member Kathleen Sherman, who makes sculptural constructions from organic materials such as gourds and found objects; Nancy DeCamillis, a writer, photographer and stone sculptor, who photographs plant forms and architectural elements; and John Ostlund, a stone sculptor, who is influenced by folk art, ethnic cultures and Renaissance figures. Rocky Mountain Biennial October 3, 2008-January 3, 2009. This is the ninth biennial exhibition organized by Ft. Collins Museum of Contemporary Art (FCMOCA), and presents the scope of contemporary art created within a seven-state region.
